Protecting your personal data matters to us. This policy explains which data is processed when you visit this website, for what purpose, and on what legal basis. This is a static information website. We do not use any tracking or analytics tools, no social media plugins, and no comment feature. We only process data you actively submit to us — via the contact or audit form, or the newsletter signup.

The responsible party is based in the United States. The requirements of the GDPR nevertheless apply to users from the EU/EEA, as the offer is directed at the German-speaking market.

3. Hosting and Server Log Files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The server infrastructure is located in Germany / the European Union. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically:

This processing serves to ensure smooth operation, security, and the technical delivery of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR is in place with the hosting provider.

4. Encryption (SSL/TLS)

For security reasons, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the "https://" in your browser's address bar.

5. Cookies and Local Storage

We do not use cookies for tracking or marketing purposes, and we do not embed any analytics services. For a purely visual setting (turning the decorative background diagnostic field on or off), we store a small value in your browser's local storage. This value contains no personal data, remains on your device, and is not transmitted to us or any third party. You can delete it at any time via your browser settings.

6. Contact and Audit Form

If you send us an inquiry via the contact or audit form, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, and optionally company, website URL, and your message) in order to handle your inquiry and get in touch with you. The form is submitted to our own server application, from which your inquiry is delivered to us by email. We do not pass this data on to third parties for any other purpose.

The legal basis is the initiation or performance of a contract or engagement (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) as well as our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). We store the data until your inquiry has been conclusively processed and no statutory retention obligations apply; it is then deleted.

7. Newsletter

You can sign up for our newsletter on this website. For this we process your email address and — if provided — your name. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you sign up. The data is used exclusively to send the newsletter, stored on our own server infrastructure, and never shared with third parties.

You can unsubscribe at any time — via the unsubscribe link in every newsletter email or informally by writing to info@klinglt.de. After unsubscribing, we delete your data from the mailing list.

8. Your Rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain information free of charge about your stored personal data, their origin and recipients, and the purpose of the processing, as well as a right to correction, restriction of processing, or deletion of this data, and a right to data portability. Where processing is based on a legitimate interest, you have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with effect for the future.
